Dragonfly Expeditions was founded on a simple belief: pure experience is the most exciting way to learn. Our guides are certified and trained historians, naturalists and field biologists who bring South Florida to life in the places where it actually happened, from the Miami Circle to the cypress domes of Big Cypress.
We work primarily with corporate groups, incentive programs, conventions and private parties of ten or more, and we operate exclusively by appointment. That focus is what lets us secure private access, keep guide ratios small and run two staff on every vehicle.
Many of our expeditions return a share of profits to the organizations that protect the places we visit: the Barnacle Society, the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station, the Olympia Theater and other local preservation and conservation groups.
